The first two days, which take place at our training centre, are the equivalent of our Learn to Kayak - Sea Starter Course, but tailored to the expedition. If you have completed a weekend or Private one day Learn to Kayak - Sea Starter Course you can choose to do the 3 days only, but we recommend discussing this with us first.
We recommend you have your own kayak and equipment for this course as you will be best learning in the gear you plan on taking, but it is not expected that you will be fully geared up at this stage. Advice on gear and outfitting is available as part of the course.
In addition, participants will need to bring their own personal equipment, sleeping bag, sleeping mat, rain jacket, rain pants, and 2 person tent. Hire of camping equipment is available if you do not yet have this gear.

Equipment: Participants will need to bring their own kayak, personal kayaking equipment, plus camping gear, stove, food, clothes, wet weather gear and personal items for 2 nights camping.
Hire of camping equipment can be arranged at extra cost.
