Performance Hatches feature Sea-Lect Designs' unique two-part construction for maximum protection and  floats when dropped in the water, They are easy to attach while still offering a superior watertight seal.

The 8” Round hatch is compatible with the Valley Canoe Products (VCP) round day hatch when mounted on an injection molded rim bolted/glued to the deck; not recommended for rotomolded kayaks that do not feature this rim.

The 8" round hatch cover fits the round hatch on a range of kayaks including Mirage 530 / 580 and Nadgee - fits Valley rims.

These hatch covers come as Performance and Recreational models - they are both the same size & fit the same rim. The difference is that the Performance cover floats and the Recreational does not (Recreational is cheaper).
