2mm spectra is ideal for rudder cables and is a must have item in your general repair kit.  Can be used to replace rudder cables on Epic Surf Skis.

Tip: when replacing rudder cables, rather than tying the cord around the sharpish edge of the hole in the rudder housing, it is better to use a Thimble (tear-drop shaped eyelet) or mini D-shackle. Spectra is a tough cord, but being under tension over a sharp edge will reduce the life of the cord and will eventually wear through.
