Need to replace your foot peg system on a sit-on top or sea kayak and prefer sliding foot braces?
Foot pegs are adjustable by trigger system.
To use the rudder the metal rails slide within the plastic channels (ie. your feet are moving forward & back as you move the rudder - not a leg drive system).
The bungee cord at the far end tensions the foot brace that has been drawn forward. When installing, set this us so that the foot braces are in a neutral position. You need to set them up so that the distance from the paddler is such that the sliding rail does not run over the bungee (use a screw as a stopper), otherwise you will find you will be replacing the bungee (4mm bungee).
This system is typically found in some large plastic double kayaks such as the Dagger Trinidad, as well as some sit-on-top kayaks.
