Contact Cement is great for making in-field repairs because it cures in about 20 minutes. Contact Cement is not permanent; it can be removed using solvents. Contact Cement is great for repairing tears in neoprene and for replacing gaskets on wet suits and dry suits that may need to be removed or replaced at some point.

Aquaseal is great for making long lasting, permanent repairs. Aquaseal is unaffected by solvents, so it is a permanent fix. Once cured, Aquaseal provides great abrasion resistance, so it is recommended on high-wear areas. Aquaseal cures in 8-12 hours.
