A larger, more supportive version of original ratcheting backband

The Lounge band Backband is a direct replacement for your OEM backband that's easy to install in nearly any boat that's not equipped with a forward adjust backband system. Featuring our patented adjustable, no-slip ratchet technology, the Loungeband Backband is constructed of plastic with a foam insert covered with neoprene that is both soft and abrasion-resistant. Corrosion-resistant stainless steel hardware makes the Reggie suitable for use in saltwater. The larger, more supportive design is especially geared toward comfort and makes a great addition to crossover, touring, and sea kayaks.

Installation tips:

There are various options for fitting the seat & attaching the straps. In some cases the strap can be attached through the seat bolts. The shin 

Without the IR Adaptor straps, some extra 1" webbing tape can be included and can be used if necessary to attach to the strap that goes through the ratchets. Either bolt to the strap (double tape for extra stiffness & use a large washer (not included) or use a short section of webbing to go around the end of the strap (see pic below).
