Kajak-Sport original hatch cover series is made of real rubber. 100 % watertight hatch cover solution is created for the most demanding “expedition” use, when the cover is used in aberrant conditions and when the maximum reliability is essential. The cover is equipped with both inside and outside leash holders. Its material is extremely durable and long-lived. It is also fully UV-protected. 

Compatible with the Valley Oval hatch rim 43.5 x 25 cm (outer edge) - the hard black plastic hatch rim (not rotomolded/PE kayaks of some others such as Valley Sirona composite - use Oval 42/30 LRC)

The VCP range of Kajak Sport hatch covers are designed to be compatible with Valley Canoe Products (VCP) rims - they fit the oval hatch on Valley kayaks and many models constructed with that type of rim.

Mirage Sea Kayaks - Mirage 730 (Not Mirage 532/582). Does not fit on the Mirage rear hatches that have a soft (neoprene cover)
Canoe Sports Raiders - a firm fit to replace the original soft foamie cover (which we can't get) - check the size of  rim first! It is a firm fit - make sure the oval is correctly aligned. There are different variations of this hatch in the Raiders and not all have available replacements.

Tip:
It is recommended to add silicon or similar lubricant to the inner edge of the hatch cover, especially in the initial phase to help the use of the cover.
