Kajak Sport LRC-HT series is our latest hatch development. ‘HT’ describes the hard top in the centre of the cover, like in click-on cover. But in LRC-HT the rigid centre area is just smaller which increases stretch ability of the cover to improve waterproofness and allow more variation on the accuracy of measurement of the rim.
Please ensure to verify the exact hatch cover and rim dimensions before placing an order for a replacement cover.

Great product and will work great once I work out how to fit to a curved deck of a plastic boat. Luckily the preferred sikaflex product will also still to fibreglass. At this stage I'm leaning toward making a "glass" pad that will fit the curvature of the foredeck and have a flat top to accept the hatch rim. Only has to be 6mm thick at the most. Either that or shape a hdpe chopping board to fit, think the former is easier way to go.

I prefer the LRC cover to the 'click on'. I've found that the click-on, although easy to fit, takes some effort to remove. Even using maximum diameter cord as a pull toggle, and being very careful and slow to remove, I have torn the plastic bridge of the tab. If the bridge holds, i have found that the tab starts to delaminate/separate from the body of the hatch.
