Chargers can still be purchased if you are using the kayak & charging at different addresses (or selling your spare kayak).

This product is designed to replace current 1.25Amp/Hr Lead Acid Battery in a Kayak Pump system in single kayaks. Normally a 360-500 GPH pump (Rule pump) is used. Lithium ferrous oxide batteries are designed for this type of installation and have now been used for about 3 years on kayaks here in Victoria.

The Battery just replaces a Lead acid battery - it must still be in a waterproof case. Salt water will destroy all electrical systems.

LiFePO4 Batteries must be charged with the correct charger, so we sell this unit with the charger. Additional batteries may be purchased - see above (dropdown box).

If you already have the charger, you can now purchase just a battery (see dropdown box - "I have the charger and need one more battery"), but do not just purchase the battery and try to charge it with some other battery as it will destroy the circuit board inside the battery system.

Use:
The Red lead Is Positive.
The Black lead is Negative.

Charger Instructions:
The unit comes with the correct connection on the charger.

• Plug charger into power point with switch off.
• Connect the battery.
• Turn on the power.
• The charger should have a red light on it.
• Once charging is finished the light goes green.
• Turn off charger and unplug Battery.
