Universal Joint - rope flex joint for use as a Kayak Sail mast mount.

This is the red tiller mount that can be used to attach Flat Earth Sail mast to your kayak deck and replaces the discontinued Riley Yacht version.

The bottom part of the mount screws into your deck (deck should be reinforced) and the top part twists off.

Fits tubing with inside diameter of approx. 13mm (same as the Riley product). The base is slightly smaller. Screw centres are the same distance apart (~33.5mm).

    Purchased item so sail would be interchangeable between my two Eco-bezhigs, however slightly different system meant I fitted onto new boat easily, but will need to replace the deck mount on the original boat to suit.
    Otherwise product is of good quality and designed to do everything it needs to.

    We already use these on our doubles. No problems, but very neat and convenient.
    Riley have stopped business so we are putting a couple in the fridge.
