This hatch cover is designed to be compatible with Valley Canoe Products (VCP) rims (black rim, not the rotomolded rim of plastic kayaks) - they fit the small round hatch on Valley kayaks and many models constructed with that type of rim.

Small round (8") hatch on composite (hard rim) Valley kayaks (not Rotomolded Valleys such as Geminis)

Tip:
It is recommended to add silicon or similar lubricant to the inner edge of the hatch cover, especially in the initial phase to help the use of the cover.
