Designed for paddling moving water / white water, where a rescue PFD (with a quick release waist belt) is required, the Leader has padded shoulder straps to make carrying your kayak comfortable, while the side and waist adjustments give you the perfect fit. I like it, and feel like its the only affordable version of a lead PFD that has all the extra bits Im after , eg towing capacity , cow tail and quick release buckle. Visually the only thing I dont like about it is the giant pocket. I was after something that wouldn't be too large out in front and if I don't fill the pocket, this PFD is just that. I think a slimmer pocket would be preferable for me but thats a Sea to Summit thing.
I do have one important point to make , the sizes aren't promoted properly. I ordered a extra sml/small because on your website it says up to 70 Kilos. Inside the jacket its different to the one you have on the website. Its actually for body mass 40 -60 kilos. I weigh 64 kilos so its probably not ideal boyancy for my weight.
Otherwise I quite like the size because its adjustable and as mentioned earlier I dont like large PFDs in the case that Im hopping in and out of the kayak in the ocean. Its hard to pull myself up on the deck from deep water if there's too much floatation foam in the front of the jacket. You need to review the sizing on the Website .

I haven't used the PFD as yet but it is very comfortable with plenty of freedom of movement and good adjustment ability.
