How do you tell which one you want if you don’t know the age of the kayak but do have the old hatch (and no tape measure)? The 2003-2008 model has a small hard (light grey coloured) section with a larger width black rim. the 2009 onwards model has the larger hard section (light grey) and minimal width black rim.

To tell what year your kayak is look at the serial number etched into the stern of the kayak - the last two digits are the year.

Fits a raised oval hatch lip, approximately 31 x 46.4 cm ( 12 1/4 inches x 18 1/4 inches )
Cover is 13 1/4 inches wide by 18 7/8 inches long outside dimensions. Inside dimensions of cover are approximately 12 inches wide by 17 3/4 inches long.
