Product Description

Repair all types of gear failures with Aquaseal FD, a clear, waterproof urethane adhesive. After it cures, it becomes a flexible, rubber glue that is ideal for fixing outdoor gear that's in constant motion. It also offers excellent abrasion resistance. So, when fishing waders rip on the river or a wetsuit tears while diving through prickly corals, don’t throw it away. Fix it with Aquaseal FD. It’s also useful as a seam sealer. Don’t let rips, tears, and holes stop you. Patch it up with the all-purpose Aquaseal FD and stay dry.

  • Durable– Tough urethane repair adhesive bonds permanently to surfaces and dries clear
  • Flexible – Cures to a stretchy rubber that bends with neoprene and other elastic gear

AQUASEAL VS Aquaseal Neo Contact Cement?

Aquaseal Neo Contact Cement is great for making in-field repairs because it cures in about 20 minutes. Contact Cement is not permanent; it can be removed using solvents. Contact Cement is great for repairing tears in neoprene and for replacing gaskets on wet suits and dry suits that may need to be removed or replaced at some point.

Aquaseal is great for making long lasting, permanent repairs. Aquaseal is unaffected by solvents, so it is a permanent fix. Once cured, Aquaseal provides great abrasion resistance, so it is recommended on high-wear areas. Aquaseal cures in 8-12 hours.

Use Contact Cement for quick repairs or for replacing seals on wet suits and dry suits that may need to be removed at a later time. Use Aquaseal for a more permanent fix or for high-wear abrasion resistance.

  1. Great for fixing wear and tear 5 Star Review

My main use for this is for building up the soles of walking shoes as they wear down. I tape the edge of the heel, then pour the glue into the shape of the "mold" to restore the heel to its original level.

Let it dry for 24 hours, peel the tape off and it's good to go.
