The Kalleq offers kayakers the ultimate touring experience. It is the lightest and strongest paddle in Gearlab's line, thanks to its revolutionary engineering, brilliant design, premium materials, and seamless carbon fibre construction.
Meticulously engineered, the Kalleq edge measures 1.1 mm at its thinnest point.
The smoothness of this edge guarantees complete comfort while the paddle slices the water with unparalleled efficiency.
A 220mm blade is constructed with 750 grams of seamless carbon fibre to ensure the most comfortable, streamlined and durable paddling experience.
Gearlab’s signature ProTek tip design bolsters the ends of the paddle with an easily replaceable tip made from a durable polyamide material. This provides confidence in rocky or shallow waters, and the option to customise a paddle with coloured tips.
Exclusive carbon fibre weave is reinforced with threads that make it virtually impossible to tear. Available only on the Kalleq, this Ripstop weaves adds a chic style to the paddle.

Size Guide:
Add your wingspan and cubit(*the length of the arm from the elbow to the tip of the middle finger)measurements together. This is the ideal size of your paddle.
A slightly shorter paddle is preferable for paddling in windy and rough water conditions because the slightly smaller blade provides less resistance out of the water and more control in the water.
A shorter paddle is optimum for a higher, more powerful stroke, while longer paddles benefit paddlers with a low, rapid stroke.

Only used once since receiving last week.
Found the paddle was very easy to use.
Extremely light, my Werner paddle has been delegated to the rear deck.
The paddle was admired by my paddling mates when we went out last week for a short Bass Strait trip.

A really nice example of a CF greenland paddle.
I'm over 185cm and my kayak is just under 56cm beam. I ordered a 230cm and it fits my preferences perfectly. (I use 220cm euro paddles) Could've gone a 220cm but I also have a slighty wider kayak I use occasionally.
Extremely well made. Two haves lock together well with zero play and the weight is excellent.
It's a quiet paddle entering the water and really enjoyable to use.
Comes with a spare pair of tips & a single spare grub screw, plus a small block of wax (for the joint)
If you're after a CF greenland paddle, really worth considering.
Parcel from Kayak Shop was well packed as usual. Shipped quickly.

Have been happily paddling with a high quality traditional wooden greenland paddle.
After testing my new Gearlab Kalleq I am blown away how light and efficient this paddle is.
10 out of 10 :) for Gearlab
