Hand Locator - retrofit to paddle on your dominant side

Grip locators are taped to the back of the paddle shaft under the controlling hand to ensure the paddle is always held in the correct position. The locator can also be installed under the shrink wrap for comfort.
This locator is made by Jantex from carbon fibre.

To fit to 2 Piece Paddle:
Usually glued or taped to the shaft then covered by Heat shrink. Warm the heat shrink with a heat gun. Boiling water is also an easy home solution, which ensures you can never over heat it.
Check (tick) the option "Add heat shrink" check box when purchasing. Note that the heat shrink will not fit over a large ferrule (eg. Kajak Sport Ferrules) so if you have a chunky ferriue already fitted you will need to use tape rather than heat shrink.

To fit to 1 Piece Paddle:
When you cannot fit the heat shrink tube, you can cover the locator with smooth tape.
