I second the previous review -surprisingly good kit!

I'm really happy with these trestles. They are not too heavy, but well solid enough. The connection at the apex of the poles is a very think polyurethane link, which is a great innovation. It's the same idea as with Flat Earth & Sea Dog kayak sails, but much thicker. The straps a good quality webbing and are stitched at each end in a box pattern with diagonal, so appears to be properly reinforced and durable. The trestles are stable & do not give the impression they might topple. My NDK Explorer sits perfectly in the sling at a very accessible height. Perfect for rinsing or maintenance.

I was not familiar with the brand RUK, but based on the quality & usability of the trestles, I would happily by towline/throw bag or floatation bags as well, since the prices are also reasonable.

Like any frequently used equipment, look after it & rinse off salt water etc. I'm expecting it will last if I look after it.
