This style of blade housing installs on kayaks with a flat area on the rear deck. A 1/2" (1.25cm) or larger hole has been drilled and a bayonet pin (not included) sleeve inserted.
Choice of tiller plate - standard or extended (going forward it will just be the extended offered)

Installation tip: If you are fitting a new Bayonet sleeve to your kayak make sure you check the direction of the rudder inserted in the sleeve before gluing the sleeve. The bayonet pin fits with a quarter turn to stop if falling out when you are upside down. Make sure when you twist & lock it in place that it is in the correct orientation!
