Smart Track Toe Pilot Foot Control - Conversion Kit to convert Smart Track Footbraces to Toe Pilot Rudder Control

These toe pilot foot pedals are the parts that fit to the top of the Smart Track footbrace to enable rudder control, plus springs and cable adjustors. The Performance also has an additional guide.

Kit Contains:

   2x Toe Pilot Foot Control Foot pedals (Left & Right)
   2x Cable Adjustment bolt (screws into the footbrace & hold the cable in)
   4x Toe Pilot Springs
   2x End Caps (Performance only)

These are the new SmartTrack Toe Pilot foot pedals (#20-477 & 20-478) that fit the Footbraces we have sold so far (last several years) - there are older models available 

Not sure which footbraces you have? The Performance Footbraces have a solid metal bar covering the top of the grey (or green) plastic adjustment rod - runs the length of the footbrace.

What else will you need?

Does not include cable, thimbles / swages or the tube that the cable threads through. 
The Cable Housing kit includes clamps - it will fit the Smart Track Stainless Steel cable and our cable by the metre, and 1mm Dyneema cord (but not 2mm Spectra / Racespec).

If using 2mm Spectra we recommend our Flexible Nylon Tube (by the metre) and KS Tube Clamps 6mm. For Spectra cables, we also recommend a short length of SS cable at the footbrace end, with Barrel Locator Adjustors to connect to the Spectra, rather than running the Spectra through the Toe Pilots.

• Plastic Tubing - either Smart Track Cable Kit (fits Stainless Steel cable or 1mm Spectra/Dyneema) or Flexible Nylon Tube (sold by metre) for 2mm Spectra & Kajak Sport Tube Clamps 6mm
• Swages & Thimbles / CRW Kit - to connect to a rudder. If you have a Smart Track Housing it will come with a CRW Kit
• Smart Track Housing - various sizes & mountings available
• Bayonet pin sleeve if selecting a Bayonet Pin housing & if you do not already have a pin sleeve on your kayak.
